20-0

During the past two weeks, the Broncs played nine matches. We played Custer, Hot Springs twice, Hill City, Wall, Broadus, STM, Sturgis, and Lead. We won all nine matches. In 24 hours, we played eight of the nine games, and it was very exhausting!

Tonight, we play Red Cloud for our homecoming game. The theme for the game is class colors. We are wearing our retro jerseys that are twenty years old. Everyone should dress up and cheer loud for all homecoming activities this week! GO BRONCS!

11-0

This past week, we had only one game, where we advanced to 11 and 0! On Thursday, we went to St. Thomas More and swept them in three. The first game went well and we played as a team. The second game was a little rough, but we pulled through. During the third game, STM came out with a bang! They had us down 4 to 0 before we could do anything. Our team fell apart at the beginning but after Nicole served 15 consecutive times, we found our rhythm and we won the match. On a positive note, throughout the whole game, we only missed one serve compared to our 15 missed serves in Hot Springs.

On Tuesday, the Newell Irrigators come and play in our house at 7:00 pm. The theme for this game is sheep/whiteout. It is going to be very comical! On Friday, we travel to Custer for a triangular, also including Hot Springs. We play at 3:00 and again at 5:30. These games are going to be very difficult! Everyone should travel to Custer for our games and then support to football team, as they play in Custer also that night.

10-0

This past week, the Broncs went to Hill City and did some damage, the Spartans came to Belle, where we also did damage, and we went to Philip for a tournament and won it! During the Hill City game, their main player hurt her ankle, so they weren't much of a challenge. The Spearfish game was very exciting and intense! Both crowds were really loud, which meant a great atmosphere to play in. On Saturday, the bus left at 5:30 am to go to Philip for a tournament. We played Kadoka, Harding County, Bennett County, and Sully Buttes twice. The first time, the game was very close and intense. The second time, during the championship game, Sully Buttes played awful and we played amazing. We have won the Philip tournament three years in a row!

This week, the Broncs travel to Rapid City, on Thursday, to play St. Thomas More again. It is weird that we are playing them so soon. As of right now, there is not a theme for the game. The team is excited to play St. Thomas More because the newspaper said that they have improved a lot.

Tuesday, September 4, 2012

In the triangular, the Broncs creamed Douglas and STM! In both games, we didn't let the opposing team score more than 15 points. We played very well as a team. On Friday, the Broncs traveled to Hot Springs. We won in three very close games. We played well, but as a team we missed fifteen serves, which is why the games were so close. On the way back from Hot Springs, the bus broke down and started blowing smoke! I rode home with my parents, so I didn't have to wait an hour, in the ditch, waiting for another bus.

This week the Broncs will travel to Hill City on September 4th to play the Rangers. On Thursday, the Spearfish Spartans will come to Belle to play us at 7:00. The theme for this game is business executives and CEO. To get into the game, it will cost three dollars for students and five dollars for an adult. On Saturday, the Broncs will take a long journey to Philip, SD to play in a tournament.

Everyone needs to come and support our successful volleyball team. I would also like to thank everyone who dressed up and cheered during the St. Thomas More game last Tuesday! GO BRONCS!
